I already have MPC installed so i unchecked that option when installing the codec pack but now how do i get mozilla to automatically play Real Player streams in MPC and how do i get MPC to play the streams?

Apply these changes in MPC: View -> Options/Player/Formats (see picture) and restart your computer.
Then MPC will play the streams if it can.

Note: If you would like to use it with Firefox/Mozilla, you should select the option 'RealMedia plugin for Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape/Opera' during installation.
