I need a lot of help. Have windows media player 10. Many of the downloaded vidoes will not open after it is saved. Error message ID COOD109B.

I am not knowledgable even on proper saving of movie. I tried to download xpcodecpack to get help on codecs, but failed. I did not know what to tell the wizard in regard to puting the program in the proper files.

I need someone to give me step by step direction on loading and saving the above mentioned program and/or the codecs needed to resolve my problem and how to install them.

Maybe someone out there can remember being a novice and how it feels to not understand what should ne simple but isn't.

Thanks,

Rich

You don't have to put XP Codec Pack (or other codec pack) somewhere. Double-click the installer and follow on-screen instructions. It's not big deal, it'll put the files in the right place(s) for you smile.gif
