Hey,
Name's Eldon. I'm new here. Excellent site. Very informative. Needed help with windows Media Player 10. I can only play audio in it and no video at all. I downloaded the K-Lite Codec pack cause it kept saying'required codec missing'. t\The problem is still there. running the G-spot software, i lists the following files as missing:

Codec #1:
Problem ** ** File Missing:
DSH DirectShow CLSID 4cc: Blz0 {307A6C42-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71}
DSH Friendly Name DivX for Blizzard Decoder Filter
Function Decoder
REG Merit 0x00800000
Type DSH

Codec #2:
Problem ** ** File Missing:
DSH 4CC Video
DSH DirectShow CLSID {40AF8200-4E6E-11D4-878D-00C0F6B0D1A7}
DSH Friendly Name Render Dib New
Function Other
REG Merit 0x00200000
Type DSH

Can finding these files help me fix WMP 10? Please advice on how i can get it working again and where i can find these files?

Make sure have ffdshow and latest DirectX 9.

Also, likely this file is using DIVX directshow filter from sketchy release group.
Try this link.

... and is this some kind of Warcraft III file.. (..Blizzard)? rolleyes.gif
It's DivX, sure.
Is it an .avi? If not, try to change the extension to .avi. Then change the fourCC with AVI FourCC Changer to DIVX or DX50.
Also, try to play it with Media Player Classic, if WMP10 doesn't do the job.
