I was able to watch all the video files I got in my PC until I installed the new K-Lite codec pack.
I do not know if there is a conflict between the packs or should I say if there is a necesessity to uninstall the previous version before I install the new codec pack.
So far there seems to be no problems with files that I could open with Windows media player . If I open my media player friendly files with media player classic it works perfectly but as for the files that can only be opened with media player classic, the audio is very distorted.
I've read about ways to get the codecs back to default but its really tedious from
=> http://www.free-codecs.com/guides/How_to_i...nd_AX_files.htm
Is there an alternative to do this?
I know its not my files cos they used to work perfectly.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Would really appreciate it.
I just installed K-Lite mega codec pack by the way and it still didn't work out.
