Ok, there is some weird stuff going on on my computer. i used to have a AMD Athlon 2200+ with a GF4 TI 4200
Now i just bought a new system and build it in my old PC.
it is a AMD64 3400+ and the GF6 6800GE
With both situations i had fully updated windows, same as the most apps ( directX, wmp10, and so on ) and ofcourse at both systems, i got the newest NVIDIA Drivers.
Now, with my new system many filetypes are showing weird, mpeg, xvid, exually all video files. I tried everything, reinstall windows, reinstall the codecs, deleting the codecs. i tried more then 6 codec packs, but all the same problem.
Can anyone help me out here?
btw, some movies are showing fine, same as DVD's playing with WINDVD 7.

So what's the problem? Don't recommend installing lots of codec packs if you had read the pinned topic. TRy identifying the codec you need with GSPOT and take it one at a time.
If you continue to have probs..consider rolling back video card driver and try custom installation of K-lite pack. If want to avoid codecs, try VLC which plays most formats.
