Yeah... mp4s still work, so I have no idea what happened. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Any help?

Problem rendering Avis... I think it has to do with the codec...

I recently switched to the k-lite codec pack which was given to me by my friend. I have no idea what I did, but I must have done something cause it worked fine until I played around with it. Here's a screen of the current situation:

Yes it was an avi.

Bit rate: 984kbps

Format: mpeg4
Size: 640x480
Frame rate: 23.98fps
Audio:
Format: mp3
Bit rate: 128kbps
Sample rate: 44100Hz
Channels: Stereo
I think the xvid and divx files would do the same thing but I don't have any to test... ^^;;

The AVI uses (MPEG4) so likely a DIVX/XVID. Try opening with GSPOT to get codec details.
