Hi!

I have a problem.
I have many Videos on my computer. But suddenly all my programs like windows media player, quick time player, real player can't play the MPEG videos anymore.
I can see everything but I can't hear any sound.

There alyways comes a problem report which says:
You must have Microsoft DirectShow compatiple MPEG-2 decoding software installed on your computer to play this file. Please install MPEG-2 decoder before attempting play this file.

But I have. I removed it already and installed it again. But it's the same problem again.

Can anyone help me please???

Try doing a search on this forum. MPEG2 decoders has been covered before.

EAsier to install DVD software i.e. POwerDVD/WIN DVD (most popular) so don't have to worry about other players trying to recognize the registered 3rd party decoder. wink.gif
