Usually have to pay for AC3 audio capability as a ADDON. (This one doesn't support AC3 audio)

One way to get around this is to rename the file extension of your clip to .mpg and import it to Windows MovieMaker (in XP). Reencode it as an .avi and then import it back into Roxio DVD Builder. You will now be able to burn the movie with audio.

Otherwise try other DVD software like Nero, Roxio CD DVD Creator (almost same thing), Ulead DVD Movie FActory etc.

Thanks for the advice.... I'm new to DVD building.... and surprised that I cant do what I want....
I have a bunch of VOB files (VIDEO_TS /AUDIO_TS directories)... clips of things.... I want to create my own DVD to play these clips as a seamless movie... would like to have a menu complete with "Play Movie" and "Selected Scenes" links
Was hoping to not have to convert VOB to other formats (MPEG) etc for fear of losing quality.....
Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 - DVD Builder almost gets me there except for the AC3 thing.....
Isnt there an easy software program to 1) import my VOB's and then compile and burn to a DVD and 2) allow me to create a Play movie menu.... somthing to build the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS directories???

I usually encode to MPEG2 then I do the authoring separately which gives more control. Creating VOB/IFO or DVD structure should be the last step before burning.

That's why i suggested Nero. Less intimidating and good for novices. Allows to create menus etc.

A way to get around AC3 audio problem is to demux it and create a WAV file. VirtualDub Mod is a great tool I use that works. HeadAC3he is great converter. (Both free to use!) Let me know if want further details or just do a search. cool.gif

Sitll not quite getting it....
I use DVDDecrypter to decrypt a DVD, then use DVDShrink to get the small clip I want...... eventullay wind up with several Clip folders (VIDEO_TS /AUDIO_TS directories)
Now want to take Clip1 and Clip2 folders and combine and create 1 DVD...
So you are saying I need to convert the VOB to MGEG2 (what do I use to convert?) and then use Nero to burn the DVD???
Sorry I'm not very technical .....

Well now that I understand what process you are using..

Have you tried reauthoring part of DVDShrink to combine muliple titles/movies?

Also, like I suggested you can use Nero (Recode feature):

Good luck! cool.gif
