Hello everyone,
I am familiar with codecs enough to know what they are and know what they do. Problem is, every once in a while I download a movie, and I can get it to play in windows media player, but all I get is audio. I know this means that I do not have the right codec. However the question is: how do i know which codec I need? And where do I find these codecs? Anybody that could point me in the right direction would make my life a whole lot easier. Thanks to everyone for their time.

A: With GSpot (in case of AVIs, OGMs) or AVIcodec as told many times
