when i play a movie file like wmv or an avi.. the sound plays fine if i dont mess with the movie but when i click on different points of the movie, the sound will either not play at all or it will start to stutter.

Anyone know how to fix this? The only codecs i have are from the k-lite codec pack i got from this site...if that helps. blink.gif

Does k-lite codec pack includes ac3 filter? If not, you can try with ac3 filter (Sound Codec).

AC3Filter helps only if the video has AC3 audio. And WMVs include that format very unlikely rolleyes.gif

I can say the same again, that Mischcabob said last:

Seems a codec cleanup is in order. Remove codecs, install latest Direct X9C, update to latest display driver (check website). Just install codecs that you need.
