recently i just started to get the blue screan of death when trying to watch any video(avi,mpeg,mkv,ogm, ex..) then it reboots and when windows boots back up says that the video whent in a couninuse loop any clue how to fix i have all the codex i need and it just started to happen recently. i tryed reinstalling all codex and video driver also. running ati x700.

What is your OS ? Is it Windows XP ? If so then your ATI card is probably the cause ... now when you say you reinstalled the codex and drivers does this mean you downloaded the newest versions of each ? You better do that if you haven't ... if you are running the newest drivers ... well then you could try using a different player ... which one are you using ? Other than that I'm not sure of any other possible cause ... personally I would bet a large sum of money on the ATI card being the source of all evil ... it has done similar things to me in the past (Blue Screen of Death or sometimes just instant computer crash with "fail to draw" error, that's why I smashed my ATI card with a hammer and got a real card (Nvidia))

I'm no codex expert ... so if someone else here knows more than I do about this ... then please take over
