QuickTime Alternative 1.48 -> 1.61

Hey Guys,

I currently have installed on my system QuickTime Alternative v1.48, which is based upon QuickTime v6.5.2. Now I noticed that there is a new version of QuickTime Alternative, v1.61 which is now based on QuickTime v7.0.2 (I believe).

So my question is this. Is it Ok to just install QT Alternative v1.61 straight over the top of v1.48, of should I uninstall v1.48 first?

Usually it is recommended that you uninstall the older version first

I wasn't too sure about what to do as it is a *newer* version of QT. In the past I used to just install newer versions over the top, as the QT version was still v6.5.2.
