i'm using dvd x copy express and dvd43free but after i burn a dvd and try to play it in my dvd player i get "cannot play" can someone give me an idea of what i am doin wrong. my OS is win2k

It's probally youre dvd player. Some dvd players can't play burnt dvd's. some dvd players are pickey and only play either dvd+r or dvd-r. Along time ago i had a sucky dvd player that wouldn't play burnt cd's. I may be wrong so if admin. tells you dif. their wright.

Can be a number of things so can only generalize:
1. DVD players support certain media/brands i.e. DVD+r/-R
2. must be standard compliant
3. must be accordance to manufacturer specs or dvd player
4. Wasn't burned properly
I suggest you look at manufacturer/model of DVD player and find out what it supports:
