Working with Macs

I'm operating a Mac OS8.6 (a little antiquated, I know!) and have Windows Media Player 7.1.2.1203, which is the latest version I can use.

I find with over half the WMVs I download that I get sound only but no picture.

Is there a codec I can install to remedy this?

Many thanks,

Phil

Hmmm.. I thought Mac OS 9.2 that I use at work was old. (horrible unstable OS)

Anyway, don't have much experience with codecs for MAcs. Doubt there is a lot of support for anything older then OS X.
I did come across helpful link for codecs:

Regarding the Windows Media file, it likely uses newer windows media codecs.
*May want to upgrade if you want to play media content. wink.gif
