Quicktime AVI

Hey, I'm a Windows user and big fan of Quicktime. I like to watch all my anime/movie/show downloads with it because it's such a simple program as opposed to Windows Media Player. However, I always have trouble getting it to play AVI files and maybe some other files whenever there's a new updated version. I have version 7.0.2 of quicktime now. Do the codec packs work for Quicktime? Or are there any that do work?

well i do suggest u 2 get the Klite codec pack cause quicktime's got some prob with avi's or use divX player.u can also try out universal players like VLC,BSPlayer,etc...
