AMD64 Escape! Screensaver freeware

Recommended specs:
- Microsoft Windows 98 SE/2000/ME/XP
- AMD Duron or Athlon brand processors compatible
- AMD Athlon 64 or Athlon 64 FX recommended
- 256MB of System RAM
- Video Card supporting OpenGL 1.2.1 with a minimum of 32 Megabytes of Graphics
Memory such as NVIDIA GFORCE4 MX, ATI Radeon 8500, or better
- Minimum of 8MB free disk space

Ohhh ... and it has sound too biggrin.gif

I can run it on my laptop, so it doesn't require that much to run. And yeah my inferior 2.8 GHz Pentium 4 can handle it pretty easily wink.gif But, dont worry, for my next computer, I'm getting a dual-core Athlon. I wouldn't say it's worth switching unless it is dual-core., since there aren't too many 64-bit applications out there.

Don't take my sniping at Intel too seriously.
Note: I posted recommended specs, not minimum specs which is quite different. wink.gif

Oh ... oops ... hehe laugh.gif you made it look like it required a lot to run ... biggrin.gif

It's kind of a tough call between Intel and AMD, they both have dual-core processors, Intel usually beats AMD at clock speeds (they overclock 'em a lot), they both have 64-bit processors available, but AMD has more of them. I dunno, with this much competition, they both gotta be pretty good.

I say AMD is a bit better because their processors are made in Germany. Of course there is nothing wrong with stuff made in the US, just that most of it is inferior to German of Japanese stuff. Like compare a Honda, Mercedes, and Chevy. Which one will last longer ? No, it's not the Chevy. rofl.gif rofl.gif rofl.gif
