Hi! guyz
I've been sniffing arround for a Software, or is it a script, that could Lock my folders and Directories with a password. Is there any freeware that i can use? I need something that would work with my Win explorer.

Cheers

Here is the best open-souce encryption program out there: (yeah, it's freeware)

http://www.truecrypt.org/

I'm not exactly sure what kind of program you are looking for, but with this one you can make encrypted files that can be mounted as virtual drives and then unmounted. It uses the best encryption algorithms ... it lets you choose the encryption aglorithms from AES-256, Blowfish (448-bit key), CAST5, Serpent (256-bit key), Triple DES, and Twofish (256-bit key). Supports cascading (e.g., AES-Twofish-Serpent).Cascading is encrypting a file more than once, with diffenrent algorithms each time. It can encrypt an entire hard disk partition or a device, such as USB memory stick, floppy disk, etc. And, you can make hidden volumes ... Provides two levels of plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the password. Basically you can make a file with 2 passwords ... each password will take you to a different folder ... one will contain the really important data ... and one will contain stuff that wll look important (fake data), but it will buy you some time in case someone has a gun to your head rofl.gif wink.gif
