Is there such a thing as a lossless movie splitter?
I want to chop bits off avi's and mpegs, throw away the bits I dont want and keep the bits I do: I don't want to rejoin anything.
Is there a way to do this without losing any quality?
If I edit it in Windows Movie Maker, even at the best output settings I lose quite a bit. I was told you can edit movies (just chopping off bits and saving) in Nero Vision Express and 'export' a dvd compatible file: does this also re-process or render or whatever it's called and lose quality?
Or is there a proper tool that will do the job better?
Thanks.
