Problem with QuickTime Alternative 1.61

Hi,

Ok here is my problem :

I'm using XP Sp2 with Windows Media Player 10. When I want to play a mov file, WMP open it and play it but i can't use the time slider. When i click on it, it jumps to the beginning of the movie. I'vr tried on old mov files and it does the same as on newest ones...

Does someone knows something about this ?

Sounds right. Why don't you try Quicktime which is the native player for that format?

Yes, I could use Quicktime or even MPC which doesn't have this strange behavior... but i prefer to use only one Player, and beside, Quicktime alternative is...an alternative which i prefer.
But ok, if it's impossible to solve this, i m gonna use MPC...

Anyway, if someone knows how to fix this, the thread's still open.
