deleteme1.exe? [solved] in my plugins folder

After having played a mov file in firefox yesterday, i noticed that in my plugins folder in my QTAlt folder there was a file called deleteme1.exe. Now i also noticed that it was running in taskmanager. I rebooted and it was gone from TM, so i deleted the file. Now, after having played another mov file it reappeared. Is this just a leftover file from the plugin installation/settings or is it something i should be worried about? I searched yahoo/google and it wasn't much help. I don't think this is a virus or spyware, but i just want to be on the safeside. Thanks!

It's a safe process that runs in QT plugin folder that flushes cache and removes DLL files.
Usually runs prior to Firefox/Netscape shutting down. I wouldn't worry about it. wink.gif

Yes it will be recreated in program files/Quicktime Alternative/plugins folder.
To make sure I trashed deleteme1.exe, visited Apple site, watched a trailer and it reappeared. wink.gif

Hmmmm ... moral of the story: Even if a file is titled youmustdeletemenoworyourcomputerwillcrashandburn.exe you should probably NOT delete the file rofl.gif rofl.gif yahoo.gif
