Hi Everyone,
My computer has been acting up lately and the M$ crash report said it was due to the LAME MP3 encoder. I have not been able to find a way to remove it from my PC. Any help is appriciated!
Thanks!

There's no real way the lame dll could be crashing your computer by itself, it's probably WMP trying to use the probably corrupt lame dll that is crashing your computer (assuming you are using WMP). So I would try to replace it instead of deleting it right off ... your choice though.
LAME:

Lame includes the following files: lame.exe, lame_enc.dll (ICL4.5) and lameACM.acm (ICL9.0), so to un-install it just search for and remove them. I'm assuming that it's not registry based, which it should not be.
... actually they are registry based ... Check below

Yea TeXMeX is right delete those files. But it's registry based, so clear it from registry first. Read this guide, how:

unreg the "lame_enc.dll"
