i downloaded a movie (video clip) but i cant view it. the audio plays though.
the error message reads:
the following pin(s) failed to find a connectable filter:
AVI Splitter::Stream00

help?
GSpot identifies that i have missing codec(s).
Codec: H264/x264; Name: ITU H.264

so i downloaded x264 Video Codec rev. 362D full package from free-codecs.com
but the same error still persists!

Can anyone help? please? im driven nuts. dying to watch the movie now..
sad.gif can any kind soul help me out on this?
im pretty much clueless on the whole codec thingie.

by the way i already have the k-lite codec pack installed previously. is it causing problems?

H264 is the standard. You will find pen source x264 does have limitations with interlacing and certain profiles.
You use try latest version Quicktime 7 player, ffdshow with Media Player Classic or get this decoder. cool.gif
