Hi.
I installed the K-Lite Codec Mega Pack 1.42, and my MS-MPEG4 codecs disappear now!!!

(I uninstalled it, enable MS-MPEG4 option, install it again, nothing.
I uninstalled it, disable MS-MPEG4 option, install it again, nothing.
I uninstalled it, enable MS-MPEG4 option and disable ffdshow, install it again, nothing.
... and so)

I need the original MS-codecs since my video converter app doesn't like the new ffdshow encoder (it doesn't show at its list sad.gif

I uninstall KLCMP 1.42, install 1.38, without any luck!
Finally I install the MS-MPEG4 package at this site. Windows XP SP2 complains about it ("more recent files at system", I overwrite'em). Ditto!

Please, help.

TIA,
jugaor

*RESOLVED*

For an unknown reason, my Windows XP SP2 refuses to recognize any codecs if they're installed in a folder with spaces inside (in Spanish, "Archivos de programa" is the default Program Files folder).
Then, to avoid the spaces, I chose the win dir and cut the folder name.
The Mega Codec Pack goes finally at "Windows\K-Lite" and now it runs perfectly! mf_laughbounce2.gif

Thanks for the massive answers wink.gif
