Hey everyone,
I installed real alternative and can play my rmvb files great with that program. Is there a way that I can play them in WMP 10, too? I seem to remember that right after I installed real alternative I was also able to play rmvb files in WMP 10. But now WMP10 crashes when I try to play rmvb files with it. I have no idea if I was hallucinating when I thought I played the files in WMP10 the first time, or if something has gone wrong since then. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Why would you think a competitor's format works in WMP?
RMVB stands for Real Media Variable Bitrate and is commonly used to contain RV9 (Real Video 9 video) and RA (Real Audio). I've encoded in this format before and it's better than DivX in terms of quality at low bitrates. Higher bitrates are fairly similar.
Better to use Media Player Classic (MPC) with the Real Media codecs installed to play it back.
