TalkingSoft.com Forums: Burning dvd region 2 to play on region 1 - TalkingSoft.com Forums

I am not sure where to put this topic...
i downloaded Tom and Jerry Cartoons and didn't know it was pal region 2...
it plays great on my PC but on my Home DVD Player it doesn't play, it says wrong region...
is there a way to be able to burn the dvd as a region 1 to play on my home DVD Player??
i looked on my home DVD Player and it doesn't have a feature to change the region but even if it did you can only do that so much as far as it goes on a PC but not sure how it is on a home DVD Player....
but i looked in the manual and there is no way to change it anyways...
anybody have any suggestion?

You need a region-free DVD player.

Otherwise, try software to change the regions burned on DVD:
