help guys!

Hey guys I need help, i have the K-Lite full codec pack, and sometimes when i want to burn a movie with dvdsanta, It closes by it self when it trys to encode, or when it encodes, i watch the DVD on my dvd player and it freezes at a certain spot, and it stops and says C 13 Error or something, can anyone help me? all i want to do is watch some fantastic four on my dvd player! lol thx guys

Well I assume you encoded the movie properly...DVDSanta is a decent all-in-one program.
This C13 error is well documented with Sony products.

How old is your DVD player? Sounds intermittent. Typically DVD players don't have a long shelf life. Is just one disc or whole library?

One person claims to remedy problem on his old player:
1. Switch off the main power supply to the DVD player.
2. Switch it back on only minutes before you want to watch a movie. The player should run fine for a few hours - enough for you watch a movie!
3. Keep the main power switched off all other times.

Apparently, switching off the mains "resets" the software inside, permitting the player to "re-boot". Keeping the player in "standby" mode is therefore not recommended! Just a thought. wink.gif

thank you very much! and i think my DVD player is like 4 years old
