Hello,

I'm using the Classic Player for diverse video playing.
RealVideo, Avi, enz...

I use a laptop with a extra connected monitor.
So... two screens. The laptop screen, and a separate LCD monitor.

When playing in the laptop screen, all works fine.
When playing in the secondary screen, no video image...
When playing half in the first and half in the second screen... Half video image and half not...

How can I get my video image in the second monitor?

The problem you are running into is the limits that wibdows and directX has. You cannot have overlay on both monitors at the same time, plus overlay is not truly supported on secondary monitors. Try to set the display of the media player to use another format, ie; gdi or one of the alternate renderers. MPC , (media player classic) has alot of variuos renderers to try. Simply go thru the settings one at a time till you find one that will work with your setup.
I can't be more exact than that as windows is a bit flaky in this regard. I DO have both monitors running with accel. and overlay, but I had to rewrite the drivers to get it to work.

You also do not mention what type of output you are using for the second monitor... usb/firewire/ another vga out? Whichever, this problem is a common one. You may try to set the second monitor as 'PRIMARY' in the properties, and then extend the desktop to your true primary, ie; the laptop screen. Also you may want to try out an app called UltraMon, it's helped me stabilize my setup.

luck!

I have a similar problem. Dual output, one to the computer monitor, the other to a 12 foot large screen (sharp) display. MP Classic plays great on the computer monitor and plays all formats EXCEPT .wmv to the large screen. It plays sound only (.wmv) but no picture.

Any thoughts regarding this?
