Hi!!!!!!!
When I try to download file using bittorrent a message appears ''bad data from tracker - not a valid bencoded string''. Problem is that I allready downloaded 39% (1.7GB) and I don't want to cancel it and start from the begining. What should I do?

Hi Niko,
All torrent clients are not created equal and there are many to choose from, but few that will satisfy most users for very long.
I have tried quite a few and speaking from ease of install, ease of config and tracking. Toss in less selfish style choker settings if you desire and just overall good experience with the application, the winner is G3 Torrent.
This is the project home page and all you might need except torrents are right there. If you are in search of clean torrents, use google or similar to find you a starting place and then use common sense about who you trust mate.
http://g3torrent.sourceforge.net/
My first two downloads were 55 megs and 23 megs. i had them complete and in my finished folder thirty mins after downloading the G3 torrent app. Now that is amazing for torrent networks. Some, like emule take two days just to accumalate enough upload credits to be allowed to download something. Kinda takes the fun out of the whole share files concept when the sharing is one way and they just use your bandwidth and prioritize you just behind the leeches. lol.

btw: There are forums and IRC chatrooms running 24\7 with volunteers who help with tech advice and noob corrals. Just do a search or go to quake.net server for IRC and wander into some help chat rooms. Later, amigo.
