Most burning software will burn images i.e. Alcohol 120%, UltraISO, Roxio/Easy CD Creator.
Using Nero burning ROM?
First, fire up NERO and select "Burn Image" from the "File" menu or from wizard select New saved project/burn image.
Under Filetype dropdown box... select ALL FILES.
Browse to your ISO image and load it.
Make sure have proper capacity blank CDR.
80min=700MB, 74MIN=650MB (for data burning)
Click on Burn/Write CD
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Also when having an .iso or .bin file downloaded, and you don't have the .cue file or something like that you can extract the whole content of the ISO to a folder using program WinISO.
Then you can burn the extracted files (in the folder) with any cd-burning software.
Note: WinISO is a shareware software but great i think.

Depends if need to extract specific elements in the iSO or not.
Like CHP says.. WINISO or UltraISO can extract it. Otherwise, you can burn image directly to disc.

And do not forget. You can burn upto 790 MB on a 700 MB CDR if it is an image,ISO,Bin etc
AND-- If it is a video and you want to check before burning then VLC player (Freeware) will play a BIN image without doing anything to it. You can,if you want, burn it later with another app. lol
As a newbee (Like I am ) the whole learning process is facinating. Just dont give up in frustration. Frustration will occur, believe me
