Hi there

I have purchased some cd's that are subliminal and want to download them onto my mp3, but have been told this needs to be done in a .wav or other non-compressed format (hope I have repeated that correctly blink.gif ).

What do I need to put on my computer so that I can download these in a non compressed way? I have looked at my mp3 and all the music that I have downloaded says WMA.

I hope I have given enough information to warrant a (simple) answer.....any help will be greatly appreciated! peace.gif

"want to download them onto my mp3," I think you mean copy them to your MP3 player.

"to be done in a .wav or other non-compressed format". If they need to be in and uncompressed format, then you don't have a MP3 player. MP3 is a compressed format.

You want to know what software to install to get your music from the CD to your player which is currently holding .wma files.

.wma files are a compressed audio format. It's the one that Microsoft came up with.

If you have Windows XP and it's fully updated, then think you already have the software you need.

Windows Meida Player.

It can rip, pull songs off cd and make them digital, cds to .wma files.
