Hi,

I have an old PII 300 Latop (Even worst it's a Mobile PII) and I tried to play WMV files around 640x480 but it is insanly framy. I tried other formats here and there and none of them work except a simple MPEG1 at around 512x384.

I am sure there is a way to get video at 640x480 to run properly on my Laptop (Toshiba 7010ct) I used to have a Pentium 200 (non MMX) with only 8mb RAM and I was able to run MPEG fine at 640x480...

please help!

Thanks

Just because both files were mpg, that doesn't mean that they can both be played on a slower cpu.

I have something of a PII computer and some stuff I can watch just fine, and other files that have the same extension just crawl when played. It comes down to how compressed the file is.

Advice - Start saving up for a new laptop or desktop from tigerdirect.com
