hi every1 im new here . need help badly im using lime wire for downloads so when i download movies mainly avi when i try to play these i cant because of codecs what r these and how can i solve this problem hope some1 can help cheers mrmac.................

where do i get these codecs packs though thanks 4 the reply .............

Better yet just install codecs you need.

GSPOT is a great tool to find out what codec you need and if it is installed.

If bothered to search forum, you would have found a codec pinned guide found here:

as i said im new to all this so i dont no to search anywhere including forums as i have a lot to learn but a least im trying so thanks 4 ur help any as this is very much needed mr mac...........
