Help
I bought my wife a Olympus VN-480PC Digital Voice Recorder for her birthday but she has not been able to download her voice onto the PC as when we try to open the software it brings up an error message:
" IMP ADPCM Audio Codec is disabled. Enable IMA audio codec"
I have searched everywhere for this codec but can't find it. Can anyone help?

its only disabled you should be able to enable it in youre soft option!!

Have you tried to get into the cam without using the software?
As far I know and would guess, if you can connect your cam to the computer you should be able to see it as a removeable drive.
If that is the case, then you just need to go to my computer and find an icon for a removeable drive and double click on it to open it up and just move the files off to your desktop. There might a folder or two.
But then it sounds like you might still have a problem if the files aren't in mp3 or wav or ogg format.
But then, the other comment might help with that.
