Hey, I have about 10 video files where after about 5 seconds into the video the audio starts to get real choppy and slows the whole video down and then at about 8 seconds the video corrects itself, but the audio is 100& gone. I don't know what to do.
There all .avi's.
The video compression is Xvid and the audio format is MPEG Layer-3.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Well do you a fast enough computer to play MPEG4 vids? Also, never mentioned what player you are using either. Also, will get choppy if you have slow computer or try to multi-task too many things in b.g.
FFDSHOW mostly works, but likely need the lastest XVID 1.2 found here.
