Video playback problem codecs?

When I play back a certain video the screen flashes throughout the video. There are some moments you think it clears(when there is plenty of color) but the flash resumes with a vengence. Any advice would be appreciated.

screen flash?? the complete screen or just the player window???

Just the player window will flash constantly. AVI file, if that helps.

its probably a codec or player problem!!! try gspot to find what codec have been used to encode the video and you can try VLC player !

and update youre video card driver !!!
