for some reason i'm not able to rip ac3 sound from movies any more. i load file as usual, then go to stream list and select demux but nothing happens when i try to save it. got xvid codec, ac3 filter and divx. worked fine before. what gives?

Make sure you have right AC3 filter installed (several versions)
Also, make sure you have the virtualDubMod installed, not the regular version.
Under stream list...Select the movie file (make sure not disabled) and then click demux

everything seems to be ok but it just doesn't work anymore.
i've got AC3Filter ver 0.70b. i think i downloaded the latest versions of xvid, divx and ac3filter and then i wasn't able to rip anymore.
i don't feel like formatting the harddrive
maybe i should uninstall the codecs and try to clean the registry but i'm not quite sure how to do that though.

i think virtual... doesnt support xvid 1.1 try with 1.0.3 but i can be wrong!

hmm, under "save as" the option "don't run this job now" was ticked. i don't remember having done that but now i can demux ac3 again. thanks for the help guys.

Well glad u got it to work. Yes, there is a batch or job control feature.
Figured it had to be something simple.
