I use a Panasonic DVD recorder to capture TV for later playback. It produces files .IFO, .VOB, and .BUP.
I cannot watch them on Windows Media Player 9.0 which probably doesn't recognize these files. Roxio Player 6.1 begins to play, then the video fragments and freezes. What do I need to watch these on my PC?

Should create a VIDEO_TS folder with those files contained. Simply use DVD software player like WINDVD or powerDvD and direct it to that folder.
Other players will work, but you will require a DVD or MPEG2 decoder.
