When burning Dvds Im using Nero 6 and Nero Vision Express SE.

Everything worked fine, until a few days ago.

When creating the menue, I use a jpeg picture (photo, wallpaper etc.) as background for the Dvdmenue.

Every picture I use looks now like a x-ray picture on the Dvd.

Only on the Dvd, not on the computer.

Even the preview shows the normal picture.

Didnt change the settings, jpeg is the chosen format.

I cant find out what happend.

Hope somebody can give me an advice.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanx, Tyler

Sounds like it turned into a negative. Could have gotten corrupted or
the program can't handle other types of JPEGs.

Just try opening photoediting program like PHOTOSHOP. Make sure it's a baseline standard jPEG, not progressive and 24 bit, RGB image. thumbsup.gif

Hi Mischcabob,

I used some of the JPEGS before, this pictures are 100% ok.

They open up right in Ashampoos Photocommander, in Windows, in Quicktime Pic Viewer and in Nero Photosnap.

Only in the Dvdmenue they turn into, lets say negative.

Looks like some basiccolours are missing.

Its not just black and white. There are some colours.

The program handled them very good. Before.

It handled JPEGS, PNGS, TIFS, GIFS and others.

It happens with every pic.

Thats why im worrying.

I cant find the problems solution.

Thanx for your fast replying and efforts!

Might be software bug. Have you tried looking for patch or update.
Check their support/forum section and consider updating to at least 6.6 reloaded version. Ahead will likely drop support for older versions. wink.gif
