please.gif Hello ANYBODY,

I have windows MP 10, Real Time, Quick Time, etc. media players, but none will play DVD Movies or Music CD's. My computer used to, but just suddenly stopped, i've had errors regarding Decoders, Codecs, MPEG4. I know i only have MPEG2's on my computer even though i've downloaded all kinds of stuff from the Windows Download site. I even downloaded Registry Fix trying to see if that would do the trick, but no such luck. Can ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ME, i've been working on this for many days and it's about to drive me nuts. I checked my drivers and my computer says their compatible, but i'm not sure if they need updating and so to what. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks,

SwtPch46/Candace Estes

Hello,

I'm new to this site, but so far there's been nothing given to me to help with my problem of getting my Media Players to play DVD Movies or CD Music. So far this site is bumming me out.

Thanks,

SwtPch46

P.S. Could someone please at least suggest some downloads to aide these problems. I have already tried uninstalling & re-installing them. mad.gif annoyed.gif imstupid.gif please.gif

Hello!

Your problem cannot be solved by downloading progs. There is no software that can fix a totally ...well.. crippled computer. And your one probably is.. its multimedia section at least.
You wrote you had Windows Media Player 10, Real Player, QuickTime, etc.(??!!) installed. These players and their codecs conflict each other.
You said you had been working on this for many days. You had better not working on this more but format your hard drive and download the codecs you really need...

Get some basic information about codecs:
http://www.free-codecs.com/guides/What_Cod...hould_I_Use.htm

Also, you can find some of your questions already answered here at the forum.

These are my thoughts, good luck! wink.gif
