Converting DVD To MP3

I have recorded a couple of audio clips into a Sony DVD-R using LG DR-7622W DVD Recorder but ran into some problems converting them from DVD to mp3.

I have tried a couple of audio ripper tools but the same problem remains. They are only able to rip 9% of any audio clips and stop. I wonder what happen. Any experts out there, please advise.
