Hey thanks for reading this, first off. I was wondering if it was possible to get rid of the addresses that pop up in Windows Explorer, for instance, if you type in "e", you may see several addresses starting with e pop up (ebaumsworld.com/askfj;aslkf, for instance. How can you get rid of and/or delete this?
Thanks in advance,
-Cameron

Windows Explorer imports that history from Internet Explorer (URLs, etc.), MRU Lists (Most Recently Used) of other applications, the typed "RUN" history from Start Menu, and so on...
If you only need to remove the typed URLs, delete IE history, temp. files.
However there are good (and free) software available to clean recent file lists: CCleaner, DCleaner.
Anti-Spyware/Adware tools (like Ad-Aware) are also able to DEL MRUs.

I'm using MMH Cleaner. As you can see in this screenshot, there is a checkbox "All Typed URLs" under Internet Explorer; check it and click the Clean button.
