I have downloaded video that is video T_s and Bup-Ifo and VOB. I made an iso, burned on dvd and it plays well.

However, I want to convert this file on my HDD to Divx format. How do I do that? Dr.Divx does not do the job. I installed Divx Dvd ripper from here but it does not read any of the files. All the Guides I have read are about ripping a dvd and then converting----but I already have the video on my HDD. Someone please HELP ohmy.gif unsure.gif

Hi, did you try converting with DVD Decrypter (in ifo mode - from your HDD)?

Sorry it does not work. Regardless of the mode it only looks into the Drives for the INPUt media. There is no way to load a file from the HDD. It is a decrypter and writer of medium from disc to HDD. I believe conversion is not one of its functions. Thanks for the attempt to help, anyway. biggrin.gif

I wrote use DVD Decrypter, to have .vob file(s) on your HD. You said Dr.DivX cannot do the job but it should if you had the proper .vob file.

By the way see this guide how to use Dr.DivX

And check the pinned DVD Backup topic for other guides.

Yes, DR Divx should work. Done it countless times.

JUst make sure you have proper DVD structure i.e. ViDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS folder. All the vOB, BUP,IFO should be in VIDEO_TS folder. Load first VOB file and rest will follow.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask. cool.gif
