Hello,
I am trying to get x264 Video Codec rev. 506 to work with Sony Vegas 6.0
so i can render .mov files.
I have tried codec H.263 and it gave me pretty large file size.
I am hoping this newer codec will reduce the file size so the video can be
more easily shared on the internet.
So far i have rendered a 3min 50sec AVI video in 640x480
resolution in 29.97 fps and I got a 58 Mb file.
I have rendered the same clip using Windows Media Encoder
and got a 14.3 Mb file with a decent quality.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
