TalkingSoft.com Forums: playing OGM subtitle overlap problem - TalkingSoft.com Forums

So I'm playing some ogm anime (a4e's Nadesico, for example). When two people are talking at the same time, only one person's subtitles show up (I'll call them the primary subtitles), even though my player is also trying to display the second person's subtitles (I'll call them the secondary subtitles).

I KNOW that both subtitles are there because at other times it does work out and the secondary subtitles show above the primary subtitles with a blinking effect. This blinking effect is present even when the secondary subtitles don't show up. Also, if the primary subtitles end first, the secondary subtitles pop up as if they were always there. Anyway, that's just supposed to show that I'm not an idiot and that this is a real problem.

So I think the problem is that the primary subtitles are somehow being displayed on top of the secondary subtitles. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or, if someone can tell me how to edit subtitles in an ogm file so I can fix this myself? That would help a lot.
