Direct 3d sound routing help!!

HI

I am new here and need some help. I want to route Direct Sound 3d to the outputs on my sound card (Focussrite Saffire). I work in game developement. I an told the AC3 Filter might do this - is that rigth and if so, how do I configure it to do so?
