Hi All!

Im quite a newbie here so please don't be too harsh on me :-)

Here comes my problem: I get some annoying "motion blur" while watching HD quality movies. Please take a look at the pic below. This effect is most visible in different HDTV demos like EPSON, LG or Philips. All of them are blurred when objects move.

Attached File  motion_blur.jpg (179.53K)
Number of downloads: 221

My PC setup is following: VLP player or WMP10.0, fddshow or klcodec ( tried both )
AMD 2,4Ghz, Radeon X1300 Pro on standard video settings ( auto-detect deinterlacing ). Freshly installed WinXP.

Do you have any idea how to fix it?

thx ,
Borys :-)

It's normal. This is interlacing which is more noticeable in fast motion objects.
You should be using progressive or blending/bobbing fields (turn-off auto-detinterlacing) if playing on progressive monitor like an LCD. Most players like POwerDVD have this option on playback.
