i will do my best to describe what im experiencing..sorry if its at all unclear.
files will play as if they were a much smaller size than what they really are!
for example sometimes i'll try and play various mpeg/mpg vids that i have either just recently downloaded or have been in in my collection on my hardrive for a while and lets say its a 100mb vid...but when played the players are reading them as if they were 10, 25 or ?mb file[much smaller]!
it will play fine both aud/vid up to a certain point and when the lil meter reaches the end usually the vid freezes but "will continue playing the audio only..sometimes through to its actual size/length".
now if i drag the lil meter back at least half way...both the vid and aud will try and start playing more of the file till the meter again reaches then end! but in no way at all is it possible for u to actually get a decent playback of anything after the meter reaches what it thinks is the end of the file!
i hope any/all of what i just said makes even the slightest bit of sense to someone out there and they have a solution for me...cuz it really drives me up the funkin wall!!!
it duznt happen with all mpeg/mpgs just a random few. and im "pretty sure" that they were/are all mpeg/mpgs. other than that i dont really know enuf bout audio..video..codecs or media files in general other than the obvious..their names/ext's and how to push play. lol
