I am getting an error when trying to install ffdshow ( Error while registering ffdshow.ax ) can anyone help ?

I had the same error, and after installing .NET 2.0, i was able to install ffdshow. Perhaps its working with .NET 1.1 too.

Where can I find .NET? Searching for ".NET" at various places was one of the best ways to waste time I have tried.
