i have posted this question once but unfortunately no replies were sent ...so i,try again...

i am running avast antivirus in my pc. every time it detects a virus, whatever the kind, it blows off the alarm and shows a window giving some options and the recommended is "send it to quarenteen". so thus i am doing and by now i have more than 80 infested files in the quarenteen fold of the antivirus program. so the question is what do i do with those files. i am affraid to delete them and kill some system file....can you help me please...

Not a big deal.. the antivirus renames the files. Unless you rename them and run the executable, you should be safe. You can safely delete the files (usually in working directory of AVAST there is a quarantine folder.)

Maybe you should stop opening/running these suspicious attachments or watch which sites you are surfing. That's a pretty high number of infected files. rolleyes.gif
