Hey guys, this is my first post here so sorry ahead for any mistakes in rules or regulations or whatever... smile.gif

Anyway, I got K-Lite Codec Pack on my comp, and the Quicktime Alternative software...and I also use Nero Showtime to view .Mov files...

now, in Nero ST sometimes the files work just fine with a minor not imortant Error message at the start, but some files work with sound stuttering , or don't work at all...

Same for Media Player Classic (using the QT ALT codec)...

What can I do to make ALL these annoying .MOV files to work ?!

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but it's because you have a monster pack installed (also don't know which one, K-Lite Full/Standard/Basic or K-Lite Mega?) and it screwed up your machine probably.
I don't use codec packs, I hate them all dry.gif
Anyway, do you have the latest QT Alternative and DirectX?

Yeah latest QT Alt and DirectX...so if you think it's the codec pack's problem maybe i'll try reinstalling or something...

First, try to find out the difference between the playable and unplayable MOVs using MediaInfo. It is possible that the ones you can't play back are High Definition videos (H.264) and these consume much computer resources...

Also read this forum (located on the 'official' K-Lite CP site) about how the codec pack handles MOVs:
